TSLHere's who actually has to yield during a merge. Both of you. That's the trick they don't want you to know.
TSLThe merging driver has a duty to yield to traffic already on the highway. That part's true. But the highway driver has a reciprocal duty - to accommodate reasonable merging traffic.
TSLBlocking the merge, accelerating to close the gap, refusing to make space - that's a breach of duty too.
