What I Actually Do All Day

Spoiler: less yelling, more reading.

Transcript

TSLPeople think being a personal injury lawyer is all courtrooms and yelling 'objection.' It is not.

TSLMost of my day, I'm reading. Medical records on my screen. Police reports. Insurance policies that are written like they don't want you to read them - which they don't.

TSLI'm on email. I'm on the phone. I'm arguing with adjusters who all sound like the same guy from a customer service training video.

TSLSometimes I go to court. A lot of the time we work it out before we get there, because a lot of cases settle. That's just how the system works.

TSLThe 'objection' part is rare. The 'reading every page on my screen so they can't pull a fast one' part - that's the job.
