The Walgreens Parking Lot
Three everyday moments after a crash become part of an insurance file.
Transcript
TSLI just watched a guy lose 80 grand because of things he said in a grocery store parking lot.
TSLThree mistakes. Five figures of pain. Number one -
TSLHe told the other driver he was 'fine.' He wasn't fine. He had a concussion. The word 'fine' is now a quote in an insurance file. Don't say 'fine.' Say nothing.
TSLNumber two - he posted a photo of his car with the dent, with a funny caption. The other driver's lawyer screenshot it in 90 seconds. Now it's Exhibit A.
TSLNumber three - and this is the killer - he gave the other driver's adjuster a 'quick recorded statement.' He said the words 'I should have been paying more attention.'
TSLThat sentence cost him $80,000. Don't say it. Don't sign anything. And don't talk to their adjuster - that's my job.
TSLI'm the T-Shirt Lawyer. Fighting suits, not wearing them.
