If an insurance company tells you that you don’t need a lawyer, that would be insane to listen to them. What happens is they are paid and trained to pay you as little as possible.
It would be like a used car salesman saying they’re giving you the best deal and not going and getting a second opinion. Honestly, call a lawyer. It doesn’t cost you anything. Just call.
