Mr. Jared J PehrsonFounding Partner

I consider myself lucky to call myself a family man first, with everything else secondary to that. At home, I have a beautiful wife who keeps the kids going. I have an eight-year-old daughter who is fierce and loving. My six-year-old son is a true boy and loves everything sports. The entire family stays active in sports such as pickleball, basketball, soccer, dance, football, and more. We don’t have many free Saturdays, but when we do, we all love the beach in San Diego and quick trips to Lake Pleasant.

When I am not spending time with my family, I love to adventure outdoors. My love of the outdoors started from a young age. I grew up in Utah exploring the National Parks, camping with my family and youth groups, running rivers with my Dad and sister, and fishing with my Grandpa at Lake Powell. I still gravitate to the outdoors even now. If it has been a rough day at the office, I have been known to run down and hike Camelback Mountain to blow off some steam. Most of my current adventures are on my mountain bike. I love being able to see so much of the backcountry. My favorite accomplishment on my mountain bike is completing the Arizona Trial. This 850-mile trail starts at the Utah/Arizona line and ends at the Mexico border. It was an awesome adventure, and I am so grateful I’ve seen so much of this beautiful state we call home.

Outside of Work

I love music and consider myself an equal opportunity listener. My tastes vary from classical to rock to country and everything in between. I love attending concerts and seeing the performances live. Some of my favorite concerts to date have been U2, Metallica, Zach Bryan, Maroon 5, Bouncing Souls, Blink 182, Imagine Dragons, Tool, Def Leppard, Rx Bandits, and Motley Crue. I am gearing up to take my kids to their first concert in the fall and can’t wait to share my love of concerts with them.

I strongly believe in doing what you can to lift others. I have tried to pattern my life after some of the most knowledgeable and well-respected individuals in their field. I’ll leave you with some of my favorite words of some of these people and a list of reading material that have greatly influenced my perspective on life.
